Making good use of scrap paper

Thought I would post a picture of what my 6 year-old daughter spent an afternoon of her spring break doing while mommy got caught up on some work. Taking the scraps from an order I was working on and a little cardboard car she got with a fast food kids' meal, she created quite an elaborate house of paper. This picture shows only one wing of the house. She even included little headphones that attached to her computer (see them hanging over the office chair?) so that "her computer games do not disturb the mommy while she is working." It was at that point that I decided it was time to shut down the computers for a while and take the kids to the book store!

The Note House on a treasury page

I was so pleased to receive an email from Etsian, Amy at Handmade Shoppe, informing me she has chosen one of my note cards for her treasury page titled "This Town...a sampling of the talented Etsians in my town-Indy!" The page expires on April 16th at 8:24 p.m., so check it out before it's gone, and visit Amy's shop too! Thanks so much, Amy!

In love with argyle

Argyle...timeless, classic, appropriate for all ages and genders...I love it. Thought I would share a custom order I just finished for a mom preparing for her sons' baptism. She requested a light blue/brown theme, with a cross, and a classic-looking font. She also asked for coordinating thank you notes (shown here). I am quite pleased with the final outcome. I hope she is too!
